In presenting our vision for the WOC2010, the boardmembers of the WOC2010 wishes to welcome all competitors, the press and spectactors to Norway and Trondheim in August 2010. We are hereby introducing a preliminar web side presenting information available at this early stage. Enclosed you find a presentation of the concept on which we were given the WOC and a presentation of embargoed areas.

More than a WOC

In addition to make a spectacular WOC we want to take benefits from this championship in bringing the sport to the people. We will in coorporation with the national federation organize a school project, we will in coorporation with local authorities introduce a program for most people in a health improvement project. Also a technology project is planned, introducing some improvements especially regarding 3D modelling. And finally, through the public WOC Tour competition, we will invite the most orienteering- interested people to the WOC arena. All these projects will support us in achieving our Vision – A spectacular, urban and visible WOC.
