Accommodation for WOC Tour participants

General information

WOC2010 has made block reservations at several hotels/motels in Trondheim, at special rates. Accommodation has also been reserved at two boarding schools that are located 15-25 km from Trondheim. All booking of accommodation at these sites shall be made through the WOC secretariat.

WOC2010 will also be organising accommodation at schools in Trondheim, either in class-rooms/gymnasiums or outside for tents and caravans.

Payment and cancellation policy

Rooms are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Accommodation in hotel/motel must be paid in advance. Directions on payment will be given when the booking is confirmed by WOC2010. The very last deadline for booking of accommodation is 25 March 2010.

In the case of cancellation after 1 May, 50% of the amount will be refunded. In the case of cancellation after 20 June, there will be no refunds.

Boarding schools

For groups that have their own means of transport, accommodation in boarding schools is offered. Breakfast is included. Rødde may also offer dinner (to be ordered separately).

Payment and cancellation policy

Cabin

For groups that have their own means of transportation, a sports cabin is offered. The cabin has 5 rooms with a total of 25 beds and a fully equipped kitchen, sauna etc. Sleeping bag or similar is required.

The cabin is located at the outskirts of Trondheim. There is a 1 km walk to the nearest public transport (tram line to Trondheim centre). Note: Alcohol is strictly forbidden on the premises.

Price for the whole cabin for the period 07.08-16.08 is NOK 30 000.

Accommodation in schools

Accommodation in schools is offered. Mattresses can be rented. Breakfast may be purchased for NOK 50.

Adjacent to the schools, areas for tents and caravans will be provided, with access to the infrastructure of the schools (sanitary, water, breakfast).

Booking of accommodation in schools must be paid with the entry fee in order to be valid.

In the case of cancellations within 15 july, the amount will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative charge.

Public campsites

Within 10-40 km from Trondheim there are several camp-sites with cabins and areas for tents and caravans. WOC2010 has made no reservations at the camp-sites. Those who are interested should contact the sites at their own initiative.
